Lil Wayne Will Begin Serving His Sentence On Valentine's Day

Lil Wayne's gonna have to reschedule his Valentine's Day plans -- because a judge just set the rapper up with a romantic stint behind bars.

Weezy was finally given a start date to serve his one year jail sentence after pleading guilty to weapons charges -- and his first day will be February 9th ...one week after his new album drops.

Wayne didn't say one word during his brief appearance in Manhattan State court today. So far, no word on where Wayne will serve his time.

Alicia Keys Can Sometimes Act Like A Diva Too

Shy and retiring Alicia Keys released her inner diva in London this week when a hotel suite she had been offered FOR FREE triggered an out-of-character hissy fit.

Alicia had flown into town to promote her amazing new album The Element Of Freedom and was initially more than thrilled to be offered the grandest suite of all at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge.

But upon arrival on Monday morning Alicia was far from happy. Despite the suite being used to accommodate stars of the calibre of Michael Jackson and Madonna over the years, Alicia hated it.

In fact the star – who’s riding high in the charts with Jay-Z on their Empire State Of Mind track – turned on her heel and walked away from what would have been a ¬three-day stay – worth an ¬estimated £5,000 – at the plush London gaff.

My source reveals: “The hotel had been in discussion with Alicia’s team for a week, preparing her suite with her favourite ¬flowers, scents and goodies. The ¬hotel’s Rib Room entrance on Sloane Square had even been closed off at her bodyguard’s request for her arrival. But when they saw the Luxury Suite, Alicia and her people asked for something bigger.

“They were told there wasn’t ¬anything bigger and that the Luxury Suite was the biggest and best in the hotel.

“Basically, Alicia took one look and said she ‘didn’t feel the vibe’. And when she does that, she’s not joking, so the whole ¬entourage piled into her limo and left.”

Retailers Strike Back, Chris Brown 'Graffiti' Overstocked

Embattled singer Chris Brown might have learned a new lesson this week thanks to a series of Twitter posts, namely calling out retailers like Walmart for allegedly misleading customers and not stocking his album "Graffiti" -- late Monday, retailers fought back.

"Not only am I carrying it, I am over carrying it, because it isn't selling," the head of purchasing at one large chain told Billboard. "I wish I could return it."

Thanks to Brown's Twitter blast (here) over the weekend, which has now been widely reported, stores like Walmart and others have, or are, taking a closer look at sales.

Walmart, taking the brunt of the singer's frustration over his third album "Graffiti" reportedly not in sight at a Wallingford, CT store over the weekend, issued a statement Monday, December 14.

"We are surprised at the comments online. All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available."

As previously reported, Brown wrote "I'm tired of this s----. Major stores r blackballing my CD. Not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. What the f--- do I gotta do" on Twitter after sales projections for his album were deemed to be far below expectations. Those projections show "Graffiti" moving less than 110,000 copies, a dive for the singer whose last album "Exclusive" sold 294,000 copies when it debuted at no.4 on the Billboard 200 in 2007. Brown's Twitter account, username Mechanicaldummy, has since been removed from the social networking website.

"Graffiti" is Chris Brown's third studio album, led by the singles "I Can Transform Ya" and "Crawl".

Hip Hop Mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is reported thinking about proposing to baby mother and long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter. Although the news has not been confirmed, sources close to Diddy say the marriage proposal has taken form. After three kids, numerous child support issues and a child spawned from an outside girl, Diddy is reportedly ready to propose to Kim Porter.

    Sources claim that Diddy purchased a 12 carat diamond engagement ring and has already handed Cassie her walking papers... Other reports say that there is an even bigger bombshell developing as P Diddy has or is filling for joint custody of his current illegitimate child with Sarah Chapman. Kourtney Kardashian Gives birth To A Baby Boy

Congrats to Kourtney Kardashian and her "baby daddy," Scott Disick, on there new little bundle of joy.  Kourtney delivered, Mason Dash Disick, on Monday at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.  The baby boy weighed 7lbs., 6oz., and measured 19.5 inches.  I'm sure Mason will have his own reality show in a matter of days!

In an effort to centralize his many industry hats, Nick Cannon has announced today (December 15) the formation of NCredible Entertainment to handle his projects in TV, film, music, digital music, publishing and radio.

Cannon adds the NCredible CEO position with his role as Chairman/CEO of TeenNick, the 24-hour Nickelodeon network.

NCredible offices have opened in New York and Los Angeles, with a supporting cast of industry veterans in Ray Brown (Music Division), Tracy Nguyen (PR and Marketing), Dorian Graham (Television Division), and Cannon manager Michael Goldman.

First up for the versatile entertainer will be a currently untitled Hip-Hop puppet project for Adult Swim.

The show, which is said to hold similarities to HBO’s hit series Entourage, will revolve around members of a Hip-Hop group who live as roommates and struggle to become stars in the industry.

In partnership with MTV, Cannon’s NCredible collective has produced a docudrama pilot on Bronx emcee Cory Gunz entitled “Son of a Gun: A True Bronx Tale.”

Gunz is signed to Cannon’s label, and at press time additional episodes are being filmed.

Other music acts in development under the NCredible umbrella include R&B group RydazNRtist, Malibu Hip-Hop/pop star Colette Carr, and Trinidadian artist Aaron Fresh.

Cannon returns to TV on December 25 at the 26th Annual Disney Parks Christmas Parade with co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest.

The 2 hour ABC special airs at 10AM EST. On New Years Day, the entertainer will conduct his year end segment, “Nick Cannon Presents Hatin’ on ’09,” exclusively for MTV.

At press time, Nick Cannon’s early 2010 projects will be 6AM-10AM radio slot for CBS’ 92.3 Now (http:923now.com), and director duties for the Nickelodeon film School Gyrls, airing February 21.
