Beyonce Does It Big For Jay-Z's 40th Birthday Party

Bey outdid herself as she arranged a beautiful B-day bash for her hubby in the Dominican Republic. TheYBF.com has a full report on the intimate details of the bash.

Beyonce arranged every detail of the party at Campo de Casa. The dinner party Friday night was elegant and everyone was asked to wear 1920’s or 1940’s era frocks. Beyonce asked Jay’s friends to shoot a video that was played at dinner telling Jay how they felt about him. We’re told Kevin Liles shot his mushy BFF speech weeks before the bash back in the states.

After dinner there were synchronized swimmers and fireworks. Then the party REALLY started with Jay was dancing the whole night…and Diddy in his usual place on the mic the whole night.

A source dished to YBF, “It was one of the best parties I’ve been to my entire life. Small but filled with ppl who love Jay.”

By the way, the guest list was packed with Mr. Carter’s close friends and family: Diddy & Kim Porter, Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz, Kanye & Amber Rose, Solange, Lyor Cohen & Tory Burch, Alex Rodriguez & Kate Hudson, Steve Stoute, Micheal Kyser, Dream Hampton, Rich Kleinman, John Menilly, Ty Ty, Jay Brown, and Chaka and Carline. And of course, Jay’s mother-in-law Miss Tina and cousin Angie were there too. We posted a pic of Kanye, Lyor and Tory yesterday here.  Mr. Carter’s immediate fam–his mother, grandmother, sisters, nephew Jarrel Carter, and other nephews were there too.

And Beyonce’s good wife duties didn’t end there. The next day, Saturday, Beyonce invited everyone over to the couple’s villa for a lobster and steak brunch.

Man...sounds like a really good time. Bey, you are the bomb! What a wonderful wife to have.

Drake's Album Pushed Back, Taps Jay-Z, Kanye For Project

Drizzy Drake, Young Money's resident all-star and now a Grammy nominated rapper, is relinquishing more details on his highly anticipated debut. As previously reported, Drake had the world up in arms waiting for him to release Thank Me Later on Valentine's Day of  2010. Now unfortunately for stans of Young Money's Young Angel, that alleged February 14 release date is no more.

In a brief interview with MTV News he told the network that the release date had been changed to March. Remaining skimp on details he shared saying,

“Well I'm making great progress on it. I'm hoping for March now. It's just pulling everybody together.”

Drakkardanoir also mentioned that he had lineup of people he hoped to work with including the famed soul jazz band featuring vocalist Sade Adu, Sade. Moving back into the standard Hip-Hop references, he dished on upcoming features on the album with Jeezy, Kanye and of course, his brother Wayne.

“I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop. I'm trying to pull it all together. I'm really trying to work with Sade, Lil Wayne will be on it. Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, Kanye will be doing work on it. It's in the family.”

If Drizzy really does get that Sade feature, you can officially list that man as my hero.
