She has a song titled 'Stupid Girl' in which when she performs on tour, she mimicks other stars in the industry that are, we guess, her idea of 'stupid girls'. This video has surfaced of her performing the song including the signature moves of Beyonce's 'Single Ladies'. Hmmm, is she calling Beyonce stupid? You be the judge. Check out the video.

Apples New iPad Revealed

apples new ipad

Thanks Steve Jobs ! Now we know what we really want for Valentine’s Day! After a whole lotta rumor Apple’s Steve Jobs finally unveiled the iPad today. Look under the hood for details.

It’s a half-inch thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds, with a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display, and it’s running a custom 1GHz Apple “A4″ chip developed by the P.A. Semi team, with a 10-hour battery life and a month of standby. It’ll come in 16, 32, and 64GB sizes, and it’s got the expected connectivity: very little. There’s a 30-pin Dock connector, a speaker, a microphone, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi and optional 3G, as well as an accelerometer and a compass. There’s also a keyboard dock, which connects underneath in the portrait orientation, support for up to 1024×768 VGA out and 480p composite out through new dock adapter cables, and a camera attachment kit that lets you import photos from your camera over USB or directly through an SD reader.

The device is managed by iTunes, just like the iPhone — you sync everything over to your Mac. As expected, it can run iPhone apps — either pixel-for-pixel in a window, or pixel-doubled fullscreen — but developers can also target the new screen size using the updated iPhone OS SDK, which is available today. The 3G version runs on AT&T and comes with new data plans: 250MB for $14.99 and an unlimited plan for $29.99 a month contract-free. Activations are handled on the iPad, so you can activate and cancel whenever you want. Every iPad is unlocked and comes with a GSM “micro-SIM,” so you can use it abroad, but there aren’t any international deals in place right now — Steve says they’ll be back “this summer” with news on that front.

It starts at $499 for 16GB, 32GB for $599, and $699 64GB. Adding 3G costs a $130 per model, so the most expensive model (64GB / 3G) is $829. The WiFi-only model will ship in 60 days, and the 3G models will come in 90. The only down side seems to be that it’s lacking a camera — so no video iChat here! Who is getting one???

NBA Suspends Arenas & Crittenton for Season

NBA Suspends Arenas & Crittenton for Season

Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton won't be playing in the NBA any time soon -- they've officially been suspended for the season for bringing guns to the locker room.

NBA Commissioner David Stern announced today that the two Washington Wizards players have been suspended for the remainder of the season without pay.

Stern released a statement on his decision, claiming "The issue here is not about the legal ownership and possession of guns, either in one's home or elsewhere. It is about possession of guns in the NBA workplace, which will not be tolerated."

Stern noted, "It is not disputed that ... both Mr. Arenas and Mr. Crittenton brought guns to the Verizon Center locker room and ... displayed them to one another in a continuation of their dispute."

Stern claims he met with both players -- and they each expressed remorse. Stern added that both men "have volunteered to engage in community service in order to turn the lessons they have learned into an educational message for others.

Here is Stern's letter in its entirety ... "The NBA has conducted a thorough investigation of events relating to this matter ...

"It is not disputed that, following an argument on the team's flight home from a game in Phoenix, both Mr. Arenas and Mr. Crittenton brought guns to the Verizon Center locker room and – with other players and team personnel present or nearby – displayed them to one another in a continuation of their dispute. The players engaged in this conduct despite a specific rule set forth in the collective bargaining agreement between the NBA and the Players Association prohibiting players from possessing a weapon at an NBA facility, and reminders of this prohibition given annually by the NBA to players both in writing and in person.

"The issue here is not about the legal ownership and possession of guns, either in one's home or elsewhere. It is about possession of guns in the NBA workplace, which will not be tolerated.

"I have met separately with Mr. Arenas and with Mr. Crittenton. Both have expressed remorse for their actions and an understanding of the seriousness of their transgressions. Both have volunteered to engage in community service in order to turn the lessons they have learned into an educational message for others. I accept fully the sincerity of their expressions of regret and intent to create something positive from this incident.

"Nevertheless, there is no justification for their conduct. Accordingly, I am today converting Mr. Arenas' indefinite suspension without pay to a suspension without pay for the remainder of the 2009-10 season, and am also suspending Mr. Crittenton without pay, effective immediately, for the remainder of the 2009-10 season."

Tommy Mottola in Talks to Judge Idol and X Factor

Tommy Mottola in talks to judge idol and x factor

by: Bridget Daly

With Simmon Cowell leaving American Idol and heading to X Factor, the talk of the town has been about who will take his seat. Sources tell People one of the leading contenders is music executive Tommy Mottola.

Yes, the ex Mr. Mariah Carey is reportedly in negotiations to either fill Cowell’s seat on Idol, or go with him to the new show. “Both X Factor and Idol are interested in working with Tommy,” the source said. “Nothing has been decided but they are talking. He’s a shrewd negotiator and a legendary music impresario who has a great ear and instinctively knows talent. He is the perfect person for something like this.”

But, the insider made it clear that no decisions have been made yet. “No one has been offered a judging [position] on American Idol yet and there are no front-runners either,” said the insider. “They have a lot of time to go over their options.”

Tommy would obviously be a great choice to judge either competition. He knows a thing or two about discovering talent! He’s been involved in launching Jennifer Lopez’s, Jessica Simpson’s, and Diana Ross’ careers!
