Rihanna Finally Speaks Out On What Happened On That Faithful Night With Chris Brown

We have pictures of RiRi on location for her shoot with Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year December covers. RiRi finally speaks out on her domestic abuse situation to Glamour, and had a new song leaked called “HARD” featuring Jeezy.

 

Rihanna on her ordeal with Chris Brown:

Glamour: Let’s first talk about life before you made it: You are one of the few pop stars in recent years to come from the islands.

Rihanna: I would have never dreamed that my career would be this successful. I grew up in an average home in Barbados, and we didn’t live in the best neighborhood. But I was never aware that we were poor; my mom never made us feel that way. She loved me unconditionally. She made us feel anything was possible and instilled in me such confidence.

Glamour: Did you sing a lot as a kid?

Rihanna: Always—in the shower, to pillows and stuffed animals, my cousins. But I knew I wanted my music to be heard worldwide. That was my dream. I was able to make demos whenever I had vacation time, but my mom always said, “You are not stopping school until you get signed.” And even when I got signed, she still made me go to school.

Glamour: You auditioned for Jay-Z at Def Jam. What was that like?

Rihanna: I was nervous as hell. The night before, I couldn’t sleep. I was trying on a million different outfits and makeup. I remember seeing Jay-Z and starting to shake. I thought he would be in a suit, sitting behind a desk with a cigar. But he was totally chill, wearing sneakers and a T-shirt. Then I went intoaudition mode. I knew it was all or nothing. Right away, the Def Jam people said, “You can’t leave the building.” They closed the door, and the lawyers stayed until 1:00 or 2:00 A.M. to do the deal.

Nas Attempting to Block Spousal Support for Kelis

Happiness seems to only last for but a moment when it pertains to surviving in the music industry.  The attempt to keep a personal life is almost impossible when there is a spotlight serving as surveillance to monitor someone's every move.

The ongoing case of Nas and Kelis continues.  Contrary to popular demand, the two have not reconciled their differences as Nas is now in the process of trying to block Kelis' request for $72, 728 a month in spousal support.

News came as it was reported that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, had filed court papers Monday.

Back in August, Laura Wasser, the attorney for Kelis, filed a motion seeking the final proposed amount above which she based off the reported monthly income of Nasir stating that he made $240,000 a month.    Along with that, she was also seeking $17,225 in child support monthly, $29, 522 in back child support and $281, 517 in retro spousal support.

Damn, Nas is looking like a slave to a page in her check book.

The pay rate expected from Nas has fluctuated since Kelis made the request for support.  Originally, Nas was ordered to give the “singer” $44,000 in child support along with a one-time payment of $45,000 which would go towards funding attorney fees, as well as, a forensic accountant.

September saw the two attending events together which gave an inch of hope that the two had been in conversation and everything was going to be settled between the two.  Believe half of what you see.

There seems to be hands coming from everywhere trying to get money from the rapper.  In October, reports stated that the IRS was on his tail and had filed a lien against him.  He reportedly owes the government $2, 584, 206.31 for unpaid taxes on income made from 2006 through 2007.

Well, the pursuit of happiness is a tall mountain to climb and it is evident that Nas will have to endure in order to get to the top.

Jay-Z Gets Radio Personality Charlamagne Tha God

In case you haven't heard, Charlamagne Tha God (former Wendy Williams co-host) was fired from Clear Channel’s R&B/Rap station Saint Louis' KATZ-FM 100.3 the Beat on Friday (October 30). The station claimed that the sudden dismissal was due to the station's format change, as they also let go of other dj's such as Kiki the First Lady, DJ AJ and host Dwight Stone.

However, coincidentally, the day that Beanie Sigel called in to "air his grievances" concerning this on-going BFF beef with Jay Z, C tha God was given the boot. Some believe that he was fired because the powers that be (Jay Z) were displeased with the interview, and decided to make a phone call.Other sources claim that Jay had absolutely nothing to do with the matter and he is far too busy traveling to worry about something like that.

Man...we have to wonder, does Jay Z have the power do that? We're not saying that this story is true, but, it would be really interesting to know that Jigga could just snap his fingers and put someone's 401k in jeapordy.

Rapper 50 Cent appeared on Philadelphia’s Power 99FM this morning (November 3) and addressed a number of controversial feuds currently taking place in Hip-Hop.

50 stopped by Miss Jones’ morning show and discussed Jay-Z's feud with Philly artist Beanie Sigel, Jay-Z and Rick Ross.

Sigel recently dropped a track titled “Average Cat,” where he accused Jay-Z of abandoning artists on Roc-A-Fella, questioned Jay-Z’s loyalty and accused the mogul of locking him into his deal with the Roc.

50 Cent confirmed Sigel’s allegations on “Average Cat” that he almost signed the Philadelphia-bred rapper to his G-Unit Records, which at one point, was to jointly market a project by former Roc-A-Fella artist Freeway.

“He [Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones. “Jay was telling him that he didn’t want to lose him. I think Jay and Puffy had these feelings toward me at one point I believe.”

During an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Beanie Sigel revealed that he was close to signing a deal with G-Unit, but the deal was blocked by Jay-Z.

50 Cent confirmed this and also stated that he ran into the same issues when he attempted to bring estranged Bad Boy artist Mase into the G-Unit fold.

“They didn’t want to lose anything to me, while their energy was going on. Puff didn’t want to sign the Mase deal and Jay didn’t want to do that,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones today (November 3).

50 Cent has wasted no time replying to Rick Ross’ "Baby By Me" remix which hit the Internet yesterday dissing G-Unit.

"I’ve never seen a bigger fraud in Hip-Hop. He Just did a remix to Baby by Me. “It’ll count as a spin for my record. He’s an idiot. I’d be upset if my baby’s momma was out there. He’s broke. His last album sold 300,000 copies. His last record [Triple C’s Custom Cars and Cyles ] just like sold 4,000 records.”
