Part 2. Of G.M.A Interview. Rihanna Says "Chris Brown Had No Soul In His Eyes While Beating Me"

rihanna saids chris brown had no soul in his eyes while beating me

More information about the Rihanna interview with Diane Sawyer has come out today. The full video can be seen on 20/20 tonight. But here are some of the awful things Rihanna recounts to Sawyer.

On what was going through her mind during the attack: "When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked-out. There was no person when I looked at him."

Rihanna confirms the fight began after Chris Brown received a text from another woman after they left a pre-Grammy party. She says, "I caught him in a lie, and he wouldn't tell the truth. And I wouldn't drop it.”

"I couldn't take that he kept lying to me, and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it … It escalated into him being violent towards me. And it was ugly. I was battered, I was bleeding, I was swollen in my face.”

Part 2.

On her reaction to Chris hitting her: "My next option was to get out of the car and walk, start walking in a gown and a bloody face," she says. "I didn't have a plan. That whole night was not part of my plan."

Rihanna says she finally had to make a decision for herself, and not because of Chris. She says, "The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other, equally dangerous. Because it was a bit of an obsession."

On whether she hates Chris: "No, I don't hate him at all," she says. "I actually love and care about him. I want him to do well, have a great career, have a great life and grow up. And just take this as something you had to go through to grow up and learn."

Make sure to tune in to see the interview in its entirety tonight at 20/20 at 10PM.

Young Joc Has Been Freed From His Contract With Bad Boy And Block Entertainment

young joc has been freed from his contract with bad boy and block entertainment

by: MICHAEL ICEBLUE HARRIS

Young Joc has revealed that he has officially ended his contractual ties with Block Entertainment.  As previously reported, the Atlanta MC was vexed with Block Ent. CEO Russell “Block” Spencer and Bad Boy CEO Sean Diddy Combs who were playing around with his career.

In July, Joc recorded his version of Drake's "Successful" where he addressed issues with his former boss with bars like:

“My opposition's ambitions is to foul me so flagrant/ And Russell I've been very patient, trying not to turn you into a D.O.A. patient / So face it my minds another caliber, Pimp I'm light years, you're still Gallagher/ The roof, the roof is on fire, nah its just this bridge right here liar liar / Aiight I'm tired of going in on it so I'mma ask God to go ahead and lay his hands on me… Amen”

Yung Joc previously spoke with Hip-Hop Wired about the stall of his pending third album and money disputes which have brought the situation to a head.  He said,

“I would love to have Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood out this year for my fans but unfortunately I have to take Block Entertainment and Bad Boy Entertainment to court because I have to take action for unpaid royalties.

I've been trying for the last year and a half to get my business affairs taken care of with these two entities and Mr. Sean Combs hasn't personally been a part of making this a problem but I've reached out to him and asked him to resolve this. So after a while after you continue asking someone to resolve this who has the power and it's not getting resolved, then they become part of the problem.

So personally Sean Combs is not directly in this but I've asked and made some attempts for his help in getting my unpaid royalties, the advances for my albums. [I'm having] people in the Bad Boy regime try and coerce me and give me ultimatums to sign a f*cked up deal with Block Entertainment just to put my music out and I'm not doing it. It'll never happen. I'm not doing it. I've never signed or had a contract with Block Entertainment so I'm not gonna do one now. So they pretty much saying I got to sign a f*cked up deal in order to put my album out.”

In an interview with Ballerstatus, Joc revealed,

“I just got my release and one of the terms of the release was a defamation clause, so honestly, I can't really talk about it too much. I've been released, severed the business ties. May God bless them and their regime, but I'm doing my own thing now.

I'm actually in negotiations right now with a few labels. I just choose not to call out the different entities. Things are looking very good, God is very good. When I was going through this whole thing with the Bad Boy/Block situation, I didn't know what the other side was going to be. I didn't know if there was going to be light on the other end. I was hopeful, but it's actually working out for the best. I ain't mad, nobody's mad right now, everything is good.”

In the mix of the label turmoil, Joc released the independent album/mixtape Grind Flu and has been running his own label Swagg Team Entertainment.  The hits under that umbrella include the GS Boyz' “Stanky Leg” and Hot Stylez' “Lookin' Boy.”

50 Cent Says His Power Fragrance 'Smells Like Success'

By Shaheem Reid

NEW YORK — 50 Cent got a chance to get up close and personal with the people, taking pictures with fans at Macy's in Herald Square on Thursday evening (November 5). His new cologne, Power by 50 Cent, is in stores now. Fif, dressed in a sports coat, addressed the crowd, telling them he always wanted to have his own fragrance.

"The fragrance Power was an idea I came up with," 50 said before the event started. "I wanted to offer confidence. I wanted to make something that smells like success. We went through a whole lot of different ideas. I created storyboards, things I felt was representation of power. It turned into the actual shape of the bottle, if you look at the top. The details on it might remind you of my favorite watches, Audemars Piguet or Hublot. I wanted it to be masculine, sexy, attractive. Prior to creating this actual fragrance, I had the opportunity to enjoy Creed; that was one of my favorite fragrances. That kinda inspired me."

Fif is coming out with a perfume for women soon, with Kim Kardashian as the spokeswoman. "I think she's amazing," he said with a smile. "She's done great things for herself and her brand. She's just someone who the public has taken an interest in. It's not gonna stop. It's kinda like what Paris Hilton has. [Kim] might not like that I make the comparison, but the two of them have an energy that it's difficult to describe where the interest is coming from, but it's amazing. And they're so far different from each other, it's interesting."

On Monday, the digital version of 50's Before I Self Destruct comes out, while the physical LP lands in stores November 16. Within the next week, the G-Unit General is shooting a video for his next single, "Do You Think About Me," while the clip for "Stretch" hits ThisIs50.com on Thursday night.

DMX Pulls Out Of Boxing Match

dmx pulls out of boxing match

By Nolan Strong

DMX’s career as a boxer has ended before it even began, as the rapper has pulled out of an upcoming boxing match, sources have told AllHipHop.com.

DMX was scheduled to square off against New Mexico based fighter Eric Martinez on December 12 in Alabama, during an event sponsored by Thunder Promotions.

One source said DMX pulled out of the fight because his safety could not be guaranteed, while another claimed that the rapper backed out because Thunder Promotions refused his request to "fix" the fight.

Sources stated that Thunder Promotions may pursue legal action against DMX.

In the meantime, a variety of popular rappers have been contacted to stand up to Eric Martinez during the fight.

A replacement for DMX will be announced as early as next week.

In late October, DMX called into Washington’s 106.7 to talk about the bout.

He stated that he had no plans to train for the fight and appeared to take the challenge against Martinez lightly.

"I’m a just walk in as is. It wouldn’t be fair if I trained,” DMX said and later said: "I aint trying to have my face all messed up."
